A Czech company with a history dating back more than 20 years, we are a foremost European producer and distributor of loose leaf tea and speciality coffee, although our range also encompasses several types of cocoa. We roast green coffee beans on a premium Kestrel roaster. The beans imported are primarily sourced through direct trade links, with supply being solely limited to arabica coffee.
Teas are imported directly from the countries of origin. The blends we sell are developed by our in-house laboratory, and then mixed and packed in our own production facilities.
We import cocoa from four territories, meaning the four products we offer differ in taste profile. Four different types of single plantation cocoa are available, as well as a well-balanced, blended option.
Guarantee of our success can be gauged by the quality levels and standards of health and food safety we have achieved. OXALIS only uses raw materials that are regularly inspected by accredited laboratories and institutions. We hold certification for our Quality Management System that adheres to ČSN EN ISO 9001:2009, as well as that for the HACCP System of Critical Control Points, P3 - Total hygiene management, the Certificate for Organic Foodstuffs and others besides.
We have been certified since June 2016 with the internationally recognised IFS Food certificate, version 6, receiving a higher level rating for all processes related to the production of coffee.
Our IKONA COFFEE roastery range comprises carefully selected coffee from professionally skilled farmers. Apart from the well-balanced VICTORIA espresso blend, several more single origin coffees are available that we import directly from farms. These largely correspond with the characteristics of a micro-lot.

Just as for wine, coffee or tea, each type of plantation cocoa reflects characteristics typical for the particular variety, soil conditions and regional climate. In order to obtain optimum flavour, it is necessary that only the finest examples are harvested. In all aspects of processing the beans, maximum care focuses on preserving and capturing every delicate flavour and aroma.
